Coalition’s CFO/CAO to Retire

Allison Zapata • December 12, 2022

Lynn Lohr, our Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer, will be retiring at the end of 2022.

An interim CFO, Kathy Murray, joined the Coalition on December 5. Kathy has more than two decades of financial and executive experience. Lynn and Kathy will work together through the end of the year.

In 2019, Lynn was named CFO for the Coalition with the plan that her tenure would last only a few years to help grow the organization and our sustainability. Thanks to her leadership and work with the Board, CEO, and other staff leadership, the Coalition’s financial health has been enhanced – to the point that we had enough capacity to develop and implement the $65M+ Community COVID Housing Program.

Lynn’s accomplishments are many, including but not limited to:

  1. Overseeing and improving key financial processes and financial reporting which resulted in annual clean financial audits.
  2. Improving financial and grant reporting.
  3. Growing our operating reserve.
  4. Building the foundational infrastructure to support the growth and sustainability of the organization.

Words feel inadequate in describing just how critical Lynn’s leadership has been to the Coalition. We can’t thank her enough for her tireless efforts and commitment to our team and the communities we serve. Please join us in wishing her all the best in her well-deserved retirement!
