In fall 2022, filmmakers Don Sawyer and Tim Hashko of A Bigger Vision Films visited Houston.

They're working on a follow-up to their previous documentary, "Under The Bridge: The Criminalization of Homelessness," an award-winning documentary film about "one summer in Indianapolis, a tent city under a bridge, and the criminalization of homelessness in the United States."

Their new documentary, "Beyond the Bridge: A Solution To Homelessness" will "explore how to eliminate homelessness in the United States."

Over the course of three weeks in Houston, Don and Tim visited programs run by our partners in The Way Home, met people with lived experience of homelessness — and interviewed our own staff members.
