Director of Community & Strategy

Josue is the Director of Community & Strategy at CFTH. He has been with the organization since July 2024. In his role, Josue is responsible for leading CFTH’s advocacy efforts with the City of Houston, Harris County, and other community groups/leaders. He is passionate about all things advocacy and strives to make our government, and respective systems, more accessible while putting diversity, equity and inclusion at the forefront. Previously, Josue served as Policy Advisor for the Office of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo. Originally from Tamaulipas, Mexico, Josue has a Dual BA in Political Science / International Studies and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
