Director of Communications

Catherine Villarreal is the Director of Communications at CFTH. She has been with the organization since April 2020. In her role, Catherine helps to tell the story of CFTH and The Way Home, including through extensive media engagement. She believes in the power of clear and compelling communications to affect positive change. Previously, Catherine worked at Houston Endowment, the Houston Parks Board, and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Originally from Atlanta, Catherine holds a BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University. When she isn’t working, she can usually be found chasing her toddler daughter or reading books from the library.
